Pakistani motorcycle industry

Famous motorcycle company Yamaha is going to establish a plant in Pakistan. To help the motorcycle assembler, government is going to raise a fund. Government has allocated land to establish special economic zone for Japan. The new economic zone will be near a sea port so that the imported parts can be transported to the factory easily within a short time. Water reservoir has been included in the plan of the economic zone.

The assembled motorbikes will require less fuel than the existing ones. So they will be more economical to the public.

Present day, Chinese motorcycles are ruling on the road. But they are creating different kinds of problems. Some time central government and some time the provincial governments create hardship. The importers and assemblers are just fed up. So they are very happy for both Yamaha’s  investment and government initiative.
